Frame bags, saddle bags, handlebar bags, panniers, top tube bags, and cycling backpacks compared on capacity and fit.
Bike bags spread your load across the frame, handlebars, and seatpost instead of your back. Bikepacking bags strap directly to the bike and suit rough gravel and trails, while panniers clip onto racks and carry more for touring and commuting. Top tube and handlebar bags keep snacks, a phone, and a tool within reach.
Our guides compare stated capacity, mounting system, frame clearance, weight, and waterproofing claims as each brand lists them, along with verified buyer feedback on sway and rubbing. Frame bags depend on your frame's triangle size, so check the bag's dimensions against your bike before ordering.
Wet gravel and washboard roads expose a fork bag with a weak mount fast. These picks are compared on roll-top closure, mounting hardware, and packed weight.
