−We cannot recommend gear for your specific route or trip, or guarantee how a product will perform in your conditions. That is a judgment call for you, with input from a local guide where the route is unfamiliar.
−We cannot arrange returns, refunds, or warranty claims. Those go to the retailer or the manufacturer, and we have no account access with either.
−We cannot add a product to a guide because its brand asked. Products enter a shortlist by clearing the same criteria as everything else, and no placement is for sale.
